Manchester United will be looking deep into in the group stages of the Uefa Champions League when they take on Club Brugge at Old Trafford today. Here is what I think LVG will pick:

Travelling to Spain Ed Woodward y who successfully secure the transfer move for Pedro, and it look like the deal is now a step to being completed. Pedro to Man Utd is huge bonus for them, but the question on everyone lips is can HE DELIVER?. What your opinion.

The Guardian's Manchester reporter Jamie Jackson has been on talkSPORT this morning: “United’s number one target in Benzema, but if they come to the end of the window and United are still struggling to get a top striker, you might see them trying to push the Kane deal through,” he said.

Fabrie Muamba has given his thoughts on the Tottenham striker to the Express. "There is no point in going to United if you're not going to be the main man," he said. "At Spurs, he is the No1 player, he is the main guy right now. Unless he is sure that he is going to be the main man at United I would advise him to stay at Spurs and improve his career. "It will be tough for Harry next season. To do what he has done in the Premier League year in, year out, takes a very strong talent. So we can assess Harry Kane much better next season to see where we are in terms of progress or whether he is a one-hit wonder."

More from Andy on United's style. His message for Van Gaal is pretty clear. “It was different to what the fans have been used to. When you watch Manchester United you expect them to play a certain way with a high-tempo and score loads of goals,” he said. “The way we set up is like international football, where they keep possession of the football and don’t really hurt teams. In the Premier League, it's not really played like that. “It’s not a typical Man United. It’s not Sir Alex Ferguson football where you had to attack because he and the fans would let you know you’re not attacking. That’s what everyone is so used to, so when you hear the fans singing “Attack, attack, attack”, that’s what they want to see."

Manchester United is the world's most valuable football brand, replacing Bayern Munich, according to a report from consultancy Brand Finance. Despite winning no trophies again last season the Old Trafford club's brand is estimated to be worth $1.2bn (£789m). Six of the top 10 most valuable club brands were English. Barcelona, who won the Champions League final on Saturday, slipped two places from last year to sixth most valuable club, worth $773m.

Much has been said and written about Memphis Depay since his impending transfer from PSV Eindhoven to Manchester United was agreed, but how much of it is accurate?  ManUtd.com spoke to Dutch journalist and recent MUTV pundit Thijs Slegers, of Voetbal International , to gain an insight into our prospective new signing, shine a light on his character and discover exactly why he has all of the potential needed to become a bona fide star at Old Trafford... Memphis has a strong bond with the manager:  "Louis van Gaal has experience with bringing younger players to the higher level; he has done this many times in the past and with Memphis it’s certain that they have a click together – you could see this during the World Cup. I would say that van Gaal is the reason why Memphis chose to go to United. Of course, Memphis really likes Manchester United but van Gaal was a really, really important factor."

Man Utd have completed the signing of another Belgian goalkeeper - although it's too early for him to replace David de Gea. Manchester United have signed Belgian goalkeeper Ilias Moutha-Sebtaoui from Standard Liege. The 16-year-old, who was reportedly scouted by Chelsea, has signed a three-year contract with The Reds. Moutha-Sebtaoui joins fellow compatriot and teenager Indy Boonen, who also joined United earlier this year.

David de Gea: Where will he be next season? Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has not agreed terms with Real Madrid, according to Sky Sports News HQ reporter James Cooper. Cooper was responding to a story which appeared in a Spanish newspaper on Friday, claiming that the United 'keeper is all set to return to his native Madrid on long-term deal, and has already met with Bernabeu officials.

Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Dutch forward Memphis Depay from PSV Eindhoven. The fee is in the region of £25-30m with the deal believed to be until 2019, with the option of another year. Subject to the 21-year-old passing his medical next week, he will join United once the transfer window opens in June.
